Patricia’s corporate and commercial practice encompasses a comprehensive range of business and commercial legal services including share and asset acquisitions and sales, financing arrangements, shareholders agreements and related corporate governance matters.  Our firm represents businesses in a variety of industries.

As a coach with Inner Advantage, Patricia provided coaching services to corporate executives, professionals such as lawyers and parties to dispute in the context of Alternate/Dispute Resolution forums.  The objective of Patricia's coaching is to facilitate shift in awareness, tap an individual's inner strengths and collaborate with her client to achieve clarity round choices.  Patricia's dream is to become a Master Certified Coach.  She has currrently completed her coach training at Adler International and completed her practicum in May 2010 and has earned her Adler Trained Coaching designation. 

Patricia Elia joined the firm in 2003 from the firm of Blake, Cassels and Graydon LLP.  At Blake, Patricia worked in the financial services group and focused primarily on consumer protection and regulatory and compliance matter for financial institutions, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures to address compliance with legislation such as the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada), the Breach Act (Canada), the Trust and Loans Company Act (Ontario) (PIPEDA) and the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporations Act (Canada).
